Welcome to the Friday private beta. Follow the steps below to get started.

Apple notarization in process

Installation Instructions

Download the DMG file

Click the download button above. The Friday-AI-0.0.0-arm64.dmg file will download automatically to your Downloads folder.

Open the DMG and install

Double-click the downloaded DMG file. A window will open showing the Friday AI app.

Drag the Friday AI icon to the Applications folder to install.

Launch Friday AI

Open your Applications folder and locate Friday AI. Double-click to launch it for the first time.

You'll see a security warning

macOS will show a warning about an unidentified developer. This is expected — Friday's Apple notarization is currently in process.

"Friday AI" cannot be opened because it is from an unidentified developer.

Click "OK" to dismiss this warning.

Open Friday anyway

Go back to your Applications folder, right-click (or Control-click) on Friday AI, and select "Open".

  1. Right-click on Friday AI in Applications
  2. Click "Open" from the context menu
  3. Click "Open" again in the confirmation dialog

Friday will now launch successfully!

Note: This right-click workaround only needs to be done once. After the first launch, Friday will open normally.

You're all set!

Friday is now installed and ready to use. Future launches will work normally by double-clicking the app.

System Requirements

  • macOS 11.0 or later
  • Apple Silicon only (M1/M2/M3/M4 Macs) — arm64 architecture
  • Minimum 8GB RAM recommended

Note: This build is for Apple Silicon Macs only. Intel Mac users will need a different build — contact support if needed.
